I was so saddened to hear about Annette ..... I remember her really fondly as she was one of the first moderators I worked with and I was always so impressed by her amazing knowledge. She was always so bubbly and funny and I learnt so much from her. Please pass on my condolences to her family at this terribly sad time.
Warm wishes,
Jo Cooper (Head teacher at Stamshaw Infant School)

Tiddlywinks Pre-school are saddened to hear the news that Annette has passed away. Annette was always cheerful, upbeat and positive when visiting us. She was able to give us good advice when needed and will be sadly missed.

Annette was a lovely lady who was very kind to me over the years. She always gave me confidence and she made me laugh.  I will never forget her smile.

I was so sorry to see the news about the lovely Annette. She went back to the old days when we were all under Catherine. Cheeky, funny and incredibly kind lovely lady. She lived opposite a Portage family of mine (the SEND poster baby) and when she retired she thought it was funny that I jokingly said to her and the mum that anytime they needed an excellent babysitter, child minder, nanny they had one on their doorstep.
It must be very upsetting and I know only too well the stark reality it brings to mind of the preciousness of lives and times.
Sharon Ensor (Portage Manager)

I just wanted to pass on my condolences to Annette's family on hearing of her sad passing. I will always remember her help and advice to me when I worked at All Aboard preschool. It was invaluable.
Please pass this on to her family if that is Ok.

My fondest memory…Annette taking that pizza plate to the national primary maths strategy meeting in case she got asked any questions about fractions!!!! That’s how bad we were!!!

Annette was one of the loveliest people you could meet, always so positive and cheerful.  I loved working with her as a moderator and even when she came to inspect me as an early year's practitioner. She was always pleasant and loyal to us all. I know I can't stop thinking about her and her lovely family. She touched so many people's lives and we were all better for knowing her.
Teresa Rowe (Year R teacher from Meon Infant School)

Annette was always so kind and sensitive in her role when supporting me and my thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

I have very fond memories of working with Annette for many years. Annette was always a welcome visitor to the preschool. I always welcomed her good advice and teaching techniques regarding my preschool in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Lovely Annette never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything, and always encouraged us to continue improving ourselves. Something that I've always aspired to. As a pre-school we would like to pass on our condolences to Annette's family and thank her for the amazing contribution she made to the Parade preschool.
Cathy, Manager from Parade pre-school)

Here at Little Learners we are so sad to read that Annette has passed away. Annette was my shoulder to cry on and someone I could talk to in the hour of need when we first opened. She helped me endlessly. Annette will be sadly missed.
